Preparing for the journey through this life requires planning. We are told to follow the rules and as we grow up, the adults in our lives strive to prepare us for the struggles, challenges and unexpected turns along the way. In the winter, I am told to watch out for the invisible ice that is on the road. I never have been sure how to accomplish this task, but I continue watching for the invisible.
Life is valuable and we see this every day in our society. People go to doctors to improve their quality of life. We have police officers who strive to keep the peace and protect us. We have traffic laws to keep us safe in our vehicle and when walking next to the street. We must understand that all this is in place because people matter, and your life matters.
God loves each one of you and wants you to know it and begin to take the steps necessary to make it through this life with the JOY that only He can give. Our first step is to learn about Jesus and the sacrifice He made for the sins of the world. Jesus died for you. He is the only one that has died for you and me personally. Psalm 34:8 states, "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!" The first step is to know that God is good and desires the best for you. Ask God to reveal Himself to you right now. Buckle up, for the journey will have turns and twists, but God will never leave you!
